A man was seriously injured in a crash Tuesday morning involving a semi-truck and a Honda Civic in Highlands Ranch.
Colorado State Patrol says the crash happened shortly before 5 a.m. on Highway 85 near Brandon Drive.
The 18-year-old driver of the Honda Civic was seriously injured and transported to Littleton Adventist Hospital, CSP said.
The 38-year-old driver of the semi was not injured.
CSP is investigating the cause of the crash, but say drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors.
The highway was closed for hours as crews cleaned up a fuel spill from semi. It has since reopened, CSP said.
