Law enforcement, FBI searching for man who robbed six metro grocery stores

The man showed a weapon in some of the robberies across the metro area between April 5 and April 29, the Jeffco Sheriff's Office said.

Local law enforcement and federal authorities are asking for the public's help to find a man who robbed six grocery stores last month.

Between April 5 and April 29, the man robbed the stores at check stands and customer service counters, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. He presented or simulated a weapon during many of the robberies.

The robberies occurred at the following locations:

April 5 @ 4:19 p.m. – 8126 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Littleton
April 12 @ 6:40 p.m. – 5501 W. 38th Ave., Wheat Ridge
April 20 @ 6:20 p.m. – 6470 E. Hampden Ave., Denver
April 22 @ 6:25 p.m. – 3190 S. Parker Rd., Aurora
April 26 @ 4:30 p.m. – 11747 W. Ken Caryl Ave., Littleton
April 29 @ 11 p.m. – 11088 W. Jewell Ave., Lakewood

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force, Wheat Ridge Police Department, Denver Police Department, Lakewood Police Department and Aurora Police Department are investigating.
