ARVADA, Colo. — Investigators with the Arvada Police Department are searching for a driver who they say struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene on Sunday night.
The hit-and-run crash was reported at 9:19 p.m. along northbound Sheridan Boulevard at 64th Avenue. Police said a black, two door sedan with dark tinted windows struck and seriously injured a 14-year-old boy.
The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. He is expected to survive, according to police. The driver of the sedan fled the scene northbound on Sheridan Boulevard, police said.
