DENVER - A construction crew showed up Wednesday morning to install a large highway sign over Park Avenue near Humboldt Street in the North Capitol Hill neighborhood in Denver.
According to residents, the crew placed the sign in a historic part of the district.
Residents say this plan to install this sign was not run by or approved by the historic district board. A resident approached the construction foreman and found the construction permit was also expired.
