LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — Berthoud High School was evacuated Friday morning in response to a reported bomb threat, according to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office said they were notified of a bomb threat made against Berthoud High School by a phone call to Thompson School District.
As a precaution, students were moved to Ivy Stockwell Elementary or sent home, according to a tweet from the sheriff's office.
The sheriff's office confirmed that no suspicious items were discovered after a building search was conducted by the Northern Colorado Regional Bomb Squad and specialized K-9.
Authorities are investigating the bomb threat to determine the suspect's identity. No threat to the safety of the students at the high school is known at this time.
No injuries were reported, according to the sheriff's office.
