Former instructional coach at Castle Rock school pleads guilty in 'upskirt' video case

Steven Michael Jenkins, 56, was fired from his job as an instructional coach at Renaissance Secondary School in Castle Rock following the accusations.

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. — A former instructional coach at a Castle Rock school who was accused of taking "upskirt" videos at the school pleaded guilty to a single charge, according to the 18th Judicial District.

Steven Michael Jenkins, 56, pleaded guilty to one count of “invasion of privacy for sexual gratification” where the victim was under 15 years old. It's a class 6 felony.

As part of the plea agreement, other counts against Jenkins were dismissed, the DA's office said.

After the allegations came to light, Jenkins was fired from his job as an instructional coach at Renaissance Secondary School in Castle Rock.

Jenkins is scheduled to be sentenced in July and could get probation or prison time. He's also required to register as a sex offender.
