The Denver Scholarship Foundation has tapped an experienced communications executive to lead the organization.
Lorii Rabinowitz will assume the role of CEO effective Dec. 1, replacing former CEO Nate Easley.
Rabinowitz previously was executive director of the Denver Center for Arts & Technology. She also has served in leadership roles at Denver consulting firm Rebound Solutions and at TV station KUSA-9News.
The Denver Scholarship Foundation in 2016 launched a Pathways program targeting students who might be considering something other than a four-year degree program.
The Colorado Department of Higher Education estimates that by 2020, 74 percent of Colorado jobs will retire a college degree or a postsecondary certificate.
