The FBI Safe Streets Task Force said the same woman is suspected in four different metro area bank robberies in recent weeks – and surveillance video shows she wore an assortment of head-wear to commit the crimes.
The first bank robbery happened at the U.S. Bank at 8441 W. Bowles Ave. on Oct. 29. The suspect was pictured on surveillance video wearing a trucker hat and glasses:
The FBI said the next robbery occurred at the Great Western Bank at 220 Josephine St. on Nov. 5. The perpetrator was seen in a scarf, glasses and a fedora:
The third and fourth robberies occurred on Tuesday. According to the FBI, the suspect robbed the Key Bank at 7940 S. Broadway and the Chase Bank at 6900 S. University.
In each case, investigators said the woman passed the bank teller a robbery note, but never took out a weapon.
