DENVER — Police are investigating a shooting in Lower Downtown (LoDo) Denver that left a woman injured Friday morning.
The Denver Police Department (DPD) tweeted that officers were in the area of North Washington Street and 45th Avenue after a woman was found with a gunshot wound.
Police said the woman had been shot in the arm, and her vehicle had a few bullet holes in it.
Authorities said they determined that the woman had been shot at around 5:30 a.m. in the 2200 block of Arapahoe Street.
The circumstances of the shooting remain unknown, DPD said, but they do not believe there is a public safety threat.
