AURORA, Colo. — Officers are looking for a suspect after a woman was grazed by a bullet in a parking lot Sunday night, the Aurora Police Department (APD) said.
The shooting happened in the parking lot of a shopping center at 19330 E. Quincy Ave., according to APD.
The victim, Briahna McNair, told 9NEWS she got into an argument with three young men who used a racial slur against her. A few minutes later, according to McNair, one of the men started shooting at her as she was driving away.
The victim said she sustained a graze wound to her chin.
On Thursday, APD said investigators identified an older model Dodge Durango as the vehicle involved in the shooting, and released a picture of two men associated with the suspect, both shown below:
APD's bias crimes unit is investigating the shooting.
