AURORA - Police arrested a man suspected seriously wounding a woman at an Aurora hotel early Thursday morning.
Jamal Miles, 26, was booked into to the Adams County Jail and is facing attempted homicide, second degree kidnapping and first degree assault charges.
Police were called to the Pacesetter Motel, near East Colfax Avenue and Sable Boulevard, on a domestic violence situation.
A sergeant on scene told 9NEWS the victim had a cut on her neck, believed to be from a knife, but is expected to survive. He also said the victim and the suspect knew each other.
Aurora Police Department spokesperson Frank Fania said the incident is under investigation.
The name of the injured woman has not been released.
Miles' bond was set at $100,000.
