A man has been arrested in connection to a murder after a shooting in South Park Hill on Monday afternoon.
Corey Davis, 30, is accused of shooting and killing a man in a car just after 4:30 p.m. on the 2200 block of N. Oneida Street.
Firefighters responded to what appeared to be a wreck where a vehicle hit a parked car, but discovered a victim who had been shot in his chest in one of the cars.
The victim, whose name was redacted from Davis' arrest warrant, was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Detectives say they spoke with a witness who said the suspect was a man with facial tattoos near his eyes, possibly tear drops, musical notes or lettering.
Davis was identified after a witness to the crime saw a photo of the suspect on Facebook and forwarded it to detectives.
Davis is being held on investigation of first-degree murder.
