Westminster Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting. It happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday on Tennyson Street near 73rd Avenue.
Police say several officers were investigating a stolen car when a man pulled out a gun and fired.
The officers returned fire and the suspect was killed. Police say at least four officers were on the scene but not all of them fired their weapons.
At some point a Westminster officer was injured. Police say it is too early to tell if the officer was grazed by a bullet or hit by broken glass. The officer was treated at the scene.
