WINDSOR, Colo. — The man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting Monday night in Windsor turned himself into authorities in Weld County on Tuesday morning, according to the Windsor Police Department (WPD).
Kaman Morgan, 35, is now in custody.
Officers responded to the 400 block of Sundance Drive just after 8 p.m. for a report of a shooting. A woman identified Wednesday afternoon as Brie Ann Biondolillo, 37, from Greeley, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Weld County coroner's office. Her cause of death was not immediately released. No one else was hurt, according to police.
Morgan left the area of the shooting in a black or dark maroon Nissan Maxima sedan with Colorado license plate CAK-150, WPD said. Police said a tip from the public led them to the location of the car after Morgan had turned himself in.
Anyone who has information about the case should call Commander Robert Holt with WPD at 970-674-6400.
An April 2018 protection order advisement concerning domestic violence ordered Morgan to relinquish any firearms or ammunition. Morgan checked a box at the time that said he did "not own or have access to or control over a firearm or ammunition."
