DENVER — After approximately 10 reported home break-ins in less than three weeks, Denver Police said a suspect is in custody.
Police said investigators identified the suspect as 40-year-old Kyle Arienta. A spokesperson for the department said police believe Arienta is connected to "about 10 cases," but investigators are still trying to determine an exact number.
According to police, the investigation found that Arienta was involved in all of the burglaries, which were reported in Denver's Hilltop neighborhood between Nov. 3 and Nov. 22 of this year.
Two families that had their homes broken into shared surveillance videos with 9NEWS that showed the suspect wearing the same thing: a blue jacket, jeans, a baseball cap and a face covering.
Denver Police said that, with the help of the Cherry Hills Village Police Department, Arienta was arrested Wednesday.
Arienta is currently being held for investigation of 11 counts of second-degree burglary, according to police.
