Shelter-in-place lifted for Superior neighborhood

SUPERIOR, Colo. — The Boulder County Sheriff's Office has lifted a shelter-in-place order for a neighborhood in Superior that was issued Monday morning.

At about 7:35 a.m. Monday, the alert went out to residents near South 76th Street and Sycamore Street due to a person of interest who ran from police. Shortly after 9 a.m., the sheriff's office said an all clear was given and residents may return to regular activities. 

It's unclear if anyone was taken into custody.

Any suspicious activity can be reported to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office non-emergency line at 303-441-4444 extension 2.
