BOULDER, Colo. — University of Colorado (CU) Police said suspects were arrested after reports of shots fired in the area of the Williams Village Campus caused a shelter-in-place alert Sunday morning.
Officers responded around 3 a.m. for reports of a large party at Weber Hall student housing on the campus located along Baseline Road near the intersection with US 36.
While they were breaking up the party, officers said they received reports of shots being fired in the parking lot of the building.
An alert was sent out around 4:24 a.m. that residents should shelter in place and avoid the area.
Officers identified the vehicle involved and arrested the suspects, according to police. Police did not say how many people were arrested, or on what charges.
The shelter-in-place order was lifted at 5:25 a.m., and police said there was no threat to the campus.
No injuries were reported.
