NORTHGLENN, Colo. — An attempted homicide suspect has died after a shooting involving an Adams County sheriff's deputy.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office said around 4:40 p.m. Friday, deputies found a man with a warrant for attempted homicide at 301 Malley Drive in Northglenn.
Investigators have not said what led up to the shooting -- just that a deputy fired, and the man died.
A deputy was treated at the hospital for minor injuries and has since been released, the sheriff's office said.
The sheriff's office would not say how many deputies were involved in the shooting. They said all of the deputies involved have been placed on administrative leave.
The suspect was wanted on a warrant out of Denver. The Adams County Sheriff's Office said only its deputies were involved in the shooting -- not Denver police.
