Samantha Mason says her husband always put a smile on her face.

"We could talk about everything," she said.

It was something of a whirlwind romance. Two years ago, Samantha met and fell in love with a Marine named Travis Mason.

"We never had a dull moment," she said. "We were always laughing and smiling."

Travis brought twins, Aidyn and Daisy, to their marriage. Together, they built a family.

Julian, their youngest, just turned one on Saturday.

"They keep asking 'Where’s Daddy, Mommy?'" Samantha said. "They’re like 'Why are you sad, Mommy? Is it because you miss Daddy? He’s just at work. He’ll be home soon.'"

Aurora Police say at around 9:45 p.m. Saturday at least two people stormed inside Green Heart Dispensary and shot and killed Travis Mason, who was 24.

He was working as a security guard . It was his second week on the job.

Police are looking for two men who ran away from the scene with handguns.

"I need to let the world know, or ask the world, to help find these people, because I don’t think he deserved this," Samantha said. "He was the kindest person you would ever meet."

It's unclear what, if anything, the suspects stole anything from the dispensary. What's obvious is how much they stole from the Samantha, Aidyn, Daisy, and Julian.

"Doing it without him scares me because we had such a great family," Samantha said. "When I see them, I just can’t help but break down and cry."
