Man killed in shooting at Northglenn apartment complex

Police said no suspects are in custody.

NORTHGLENN, Colo. — A man is dead after a shooting at an apartment complex in Northglenn Saturday night. 

The Northglenn Police Department said officers responded to reports of a person shot just after 8 p.m. at the Vega Apartments in the 11800 block of Washington Street.

When officers got there, they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital, where he died.  He was identified by the Adams County coroner as 31-year-old Brian Saling.

No one has been arrested, according to police.

People with information can also call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or visit metrodenvercrimestoppers.com. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000. 

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation. 

From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
