New details about Littleton homicide

Littleton Police released a sketch and of one of the suspects believed to have been involved in a double-shooting earlier this month that left one man dead.

The victim, 23-year-old Jaime Villareal of Thornton, was found dead in the parking lot of a business center at 8122 SouthPark Lane on March 18. A second man, who also had gunshot wounds, was taken to the hospital by a Good Samaritan before police arrived.

This truck was stolen from a homicide victim and later found burned.

The victim’s vehicle, a Ford pickup truck with a snow plow attached was stolen and found abandoned and burned in the area of South Broadway and West Jamison Avenue – not far from Littleton Hospital.

The motive for the shooting is not yet known. Though police believe two suspects were involved, only one sketch was released. Both are said to be male, possibly Hispanic and in their 20s with thin builds. They were clean shaven and dressed in black.

Police also released video from a surveillance cameras in the area. In the video taken just before the homicide, the suspects can be seen walking along S. SouthPark Lane.
