KUSA — A 64-year-old man faces a murder charge in connection to the shooting death of a woman he lived with, the First Judicial District Attorney's Office announced on Tuesday.
Jerald Arthur Cross is accused of shooting and killing 61-year-old Julene Isaacson at her Morrison home on Oct. 7.
According to a press release from the First Judicial District Attorney's Office, Jeffco deputies were called to 5288 Pintail Court where they found Isaacson shot. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cross, who also lived at the house, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies and transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
Details about the shooting, including motive, are extremely limited at this time. It's also unclear what Isaacson's relationship with Cross was outside of their living situation.
Cross has been charged with first-degree murder and two counts of a violent crime.
He's due back in court on Oct 25 at 1:30 p.m.
