DENVER — The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said on Thursday morning that a missing 8-year-old girl from Texas was found safe.
CBI has issued an Endangered Missing Alert for the girl because she might have been in Colorado.
The girl was last seen at around 8 a.m. Tuesday in San Jacinto County, Texas. Authorities didn't say where she was found. 9NEWS has removed the girl's name from this story now that she's been found.
She was described as white, 4 feet, 5 inches tall, 60 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes.
The person believed to have her was 50-year-old Charles Estep, who was described as American Indian, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 165 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
