THORNTON, Colo. — A man who prosecutors say posed as a children's life coach, play therapist and mentor was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to attempted sexual assault on a child and other charges.
Frank Raymond, 32, pleaded guilty May 30 to first-degree assault, attempted sexual assault on a child, and sexual exploitation. He was sentenced Wednesday to 29 years in prison.
According to prosecutors, Raymond was arrested after he was found sleeping with a naked 12-year-old boy in an SUV in a Thornton restaurant parking lot in June 2022.

Prosecutors said after the arrest, investigators found that Raymond had engaged in an intimate relationship with the boy following a meeting at a park a year earlier.
The child referred to Raymond as his "life coach" and denied a sexual relationship; however, prosecutors said, videos of Raymond engaging in sexual acts with the child were found on his phone.
After that, Thornton Police searched a cloud storage account associated with Raymond and found thousands of files of child sexual abuse materials, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors said Raymond used the alias "Arya Magi" online and posed as a children's life coach, play therapist and mentor.
