DENVER — Police are investigating a possible road rage shooting in Denver Saturday.
The Denver Police Department posted on social media at 11:35 a.m. Saturday that they were investigating a shooting in the area of northbound Interstate 25 and Auraria Parkway.
One man was taken to the hospital, police said. He is expected to survive.
Two lanes of northbound I-25 were closed, police said, and drivers were told to expect delays in the area. They have since reopened.
Police later said the shooting was being investigated as possible road rage. They said everyone involved had been contacted and that the investigation was ongoing. No one has been arrested.
