The Denver Police Department (DPD) is investigating a homicide that occurred in the city's Northeast Park Hill neighborhood.
Officers were called to the 3200 block of Dexter Street at about 8:35 p.m. Friday to investigate a reported homicide.
Police said the victim was a woman. A few hours later, police announced that a man had been taken into custody in relation to the incident.
No other details surrounding the homicide have been released.
