JEFFERSON COUNTY - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department is now calling the death of a woman found on Lookout Mountain a homicide.
The woman's body was found near Lookout Mountain Road Thursday afternoon.
Sheriff's officials say at this point they have identified the woman. They say the woman has out of state connections, Investigators are trying to figure out her connection to Colorado.
Deputies are working to find the woman's family. When they notify them they will release her identity.
At this point officials say it's a mystery what she was doing here.
