SILT, Colo. — Jayson Boebert, ex-husband of U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colorado, faces six criminal charges, most of them misdemeanors, from two incidents this month in Garfield County, according to court records obtained by 9NEWS.
On Jan. 6, Jayson and Lauren Boebert were involved in an altercation at The Miner's Claim Restaurant at 740 Main St. in Silt. In that case, he faces charges of disorderly conduct, third-degree trespass and obstruction of a peace officer. Two of those charges are petty offenses, and the other is a misdemeanor.

He also faces charges of harassment, third-degree assault and possessing a gun while drunk for a Jan. 9 incident involving another family member. All of those charges are misdemeanors.
Jayson Boebert was arrested and released the day of the second incident, Garfield County jail records show. His bond was set at $1,500.

“This is a sad situation for all that keeps escalating and another reason I’m moving," Boebert said in a statement earlier this month. "I didn’t punch Jayson in the face, and no one was arrested. I will be consulting with my lawyer about the false claims he made against me and evaluate all of my legal options.”
In May, Boebert filed for divorce from then-husband Jayson after nearly 18 years. She cited "irreconcilable differences." The divorce was finalized in October, according to the Colorado Sun.
