LAKEWOOD, Colo. — A man faces multiple charges including DUI and hit-and-run after a deadly crash early Sunday morning in Lakewood.
Lakewood Police responded to the crash at West Alameda Avenue and South Depew Street that involved a vehicle and a pedestrian at 5:25 a.m. on July 14. Myrna Estrada, 50, died as a result of her injuries.
The vehicle driver, a 23-year-old man, was taken into custody not far from the crash scene, police said. He's being held at the Jefferson County Jail on suspicion of DUI, hit-and-run involving death, vehicular homicide - DUI, and driving without a valid license.
