An inmate who entered the ceiling of the Douglas County Detention Center has been located and removed.
The inmate, Cody Crocker, is unharmed and will be assessed by medical staff before being placed in a cell, according to a tweet by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office had to set up a perimeter at the jail Tuesday morning while Crocker was located. The jail was locked down for a time and no inmates were at risk.
Castle Rock Police Department assisted with securing the perimeter.
Crocker, 34, has charges of shoplifting, forgery, possession of drug paraphernalia and attempting to influence a public servant all from an incident on February 4.
