Man serving burglary sentence escapes Colorado correctional facility

Leaf Glimpse, who is serving an eight-year burglary sentence, escaped from Arrowhead Correctional Center in Cañon City, the Colorado Department of Corrections said.

CAÑON CITY, Colo. — The Colorado Department of Corrections is searching for a minimum-restrictive inmate who escaped from a facility in Cañon City.

Leaf Glimpse, 34, who was serving an eight-year burglary sentence, escaped from Arrowhead Correctional Center, according to the department Monday morning.

The Cañon City Search Team was activated when it was discovered that Glimse was missing and the Office of the Inspector General is investigating the escape.

Glimpse is described as being 5-foot-4 and 185 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing Department of Corrections-issued green pants, a white t-shirt and black boots with tan soles.

The department did not say when Glimpse escaped or share any additional details.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
