Arrests made after altercation leads to intentional hit-and-run in Aurora

The hit-and-run was captured on video. It appears it resulted from a road rage incident, a spokesperson for Aurora Police said.

AURORA, Colo. — Several people have been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run that was captured on video in Aurora Friday morning, according to a spokesperson for the Aurora Police Department (APD).

The incident happened Friday morning on southbound South Buckley Road just north of East Quincy Avenue.

Video of the hit-and-run was posted on social media by the victim. It begins with some type of altercation between her and people in the car.

The victim is outside of her vehicle filming while her vehicle is stopped at a traffic light. The video shows the driver of another vehicle driving forward into the victim's vehicle and then driving off through a red light.

The suspect's vehicle has been located and "some arrests" were made on Saturday, said APD spokesperson Tony Camacho. He did not specify how many people were arrested or what charges they face.

It appears there was some sort of road rage incident that resulted in the hit-and-run, Camacho said.
