DENVER — A man died after he was found with severe injuries as a result of being run over in a Denver Wendy's drive-thru this month. His death is being investigated as a deadly hit-and-run crash, Denver Police said on Thursday.
The victim was found in the early morning hours of Aug. 14 at the Wendy's located at 857 E. Colfax Ave. in Denver, between Clarkson and Emerson streets. The man later died because of his injuries.
The driver who hit the man did not remain at the scene, and the man's death is being investigated as a deadly hit-and-run crash, according to Denver Police. No description of the driver or vehicle was provided.

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation.
From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
