DENVER — Denver Police are investigating after two people were killed and four were injured in a shooting in Green Valley Ranch early Sunday morning.
The shooting happened around 1:20 a.m. in the 5000-block of Orleans Court. Police said two people, a man and a teen boy, were killed.
On Thursday, the Denver Medical Examiner's Office identified the victims as Omar Eniquez-Magdaleno, 19, and Giovanni Heredia, 17.
Four other victims went to the hospital. Police said all four were still in the hospital as of Sunday evening. One is in critical condition. Three of the injured victims are men, police said. Police have not confirmed the age of the fourth injured victim.
Police said their investigation found there was a party at a home Saturday night. A group of uninvited people arrived, and there was a confrontation that escalated into gunfire, police said. Police said there is evidence that multiple shots were fired from multiple guns.
Police said it appears the 17-year-old who died was not involved in the conflict. They're still working to determine if the man who died was involved.
Police said no arrests have been made.
