GLENDALE, Colo. — Police are investigating the death of a 42-year-old woman in Glendale this week as a homicide.
Glendale Police officers responded around 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday to 635 S. Forest St. for a report about an "unresponsive" person. When they arrived, they found a woman, identified as Clarinda Blackburn, unconscious. She had obvious "blunt force" injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a release Friday, the Arapahoe County coroner's office said her death was ruled a homicide but a cause of death was not provided.
A lieutenant with the Glendale Police Department said the incident remains under investigation, and no arrests have been made. No other information was released.
