Police release photo of man wanted in connection with Fort Collins shooting that killed 31-year-old man

Keiter Baez Morales was killed and a woman was injured in a shooting in a parking lot in Old Town early Sunday morning.

FORT COLLINS, Colo — Fort Collins Police Services released photos and a short video of a man they said is wanted in connection with a deadly shooting over the weekend.

The man, seen below, is a suspect in the killing of 31-year-old Keiter Baez Morales. A woman was also wounded in the shooting that happened in a parking lot in Old Town early Sunday. Police said the shooting occurred around 1 a.m. at 215 Remington St. following a dispute between two groups of people in the parking lot.

The suspect has tattoos on his arms and braided waist-length hair. He was last seen walking north on Remington Street, just south of Mountain Avenue. At that time, he was wearing a black t-shirt with a reflective logo on the front, black pants and black shoes.

According to police, Baez Morales died at the hospital, the woman is expected to survive.
