KUSA - A former Denver firefighter will have to register as a sex offender as part of a plea deal over allegations he exposed himself to shoppers back in June.

Timothy Plybon, 35, pleaded guilty this week to a misdemeanor count of indecent exposure.

Aurora Police arrested Plybon on June 6 after witnesses said they saw Plybon masturbating inside of From Mexico Con Amor, a candy store located in the Town Center at Aurora.

He worked at the Denver Fire Department at the time, but has since resigned.

Plybon's sentence also includes 2 years of supervised deferred judgment.
