A man died after Pueblo Police officers shot him early Thursday morning.
According to police, they were responding to a disturbance call around 4:30 a.m. in the 2600 block of Eighth Avenue when they found an armed man.
The man was shot by officers. The man was taken to a nearby hospital but died from his injuries.
The two officers were not injured during the shooting. Both officers have been placed on paid administrative leave -- per department policy -- while the investigation is ongoing.
