3 hurt in shooting at short-term rental property

Three people were hurt in a shooting early Thursday during a house party that was taking place at a short-term rental.

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. — Two suspects are in custody following a shooting early Thursday morning at a house party that injured three people in Adams County.

The shooting was reported around 1 a.m. in the 1200 block of Essex Drive at a short-term rental property where a house party was taking place, according to the Adams County Sheriff's Office.

The agency said in a social media post that three people were treated for injuries that were not life-threatening. The victims are all adults, and include one man and two women, a spokesman for the sheriff's office said.

A man and woman, both adults, have been arrested but their names have not been released.

Deputies and detectives remained at the scene late Thursday morning. Numerous witnesses were being interviewed about what they saw.

From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
