ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — Colorado State Patrol distributed photos Wednesday of the vehicle investigators believe may have hit two boys in a neighborhood last week and then drove away.
The crash occurred at about 4 p.m. on April 5 on East Fair Place just west of Fundy Way, according to a news release from CSP. This is in a neighborhood south of East Smoky Hill Road and East Orchard Road.
The victims were 11 and 12 years old. One of them was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and the other is recovering at home.
The vehicle of interest in the case is described as a Buick Rendezvous SUV that was last seen headed westbound on East Fair Place. The driver is described as a black man who is between 25 to 30 years old.
