DENVER — Two people were injured in a shooting in downtown Denver Monday afternoon, the Denver Police Department said.
Police said the shooting happened in the area of 18th Avenue and Lincoln Street when an argument between four people – an adult and three teens – escalated.
Two victims, a man and a 17-year-old boy, were taken to the hospital with injuries, police said. They were both expected to survive.
Denver Police said on Thursday that they've identified everyone who was involved. Investigators believe there was more than one weapon involved in the shooting.
Investigators have not discovered any connection between this shooting and another shooting that happened about 20 minutes earlier near the intersection of 17th Avenue and Esplanade.
