Police and the FBI are hoping the public will recognize a man who they say robbed a bank in Aurora at gunpoint on Monday.
According to the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force, the man allegedly robbed the Wells Fargo Bank on Buckley Road around 11:30 a.m. He left the bank on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a stocky build and dark thinning hair.
At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a dark-colored T-shirt.
Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used during the crime.
