DENVER — Denver Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Monday afternoon at South Quebec Street and Leetsdale Drive.
The victim, a woman, was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made, and investigators were working to develop suspect information, police said.
South Quebec Street was closed north of Leetsdale Drive, police said.
There was no additional information available on the circumstances of the shooting.

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation.
From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
