DENVER — A man who was shot Thursday in Denver's Baker neighborhood has died, and Denver Police said they believe the shooting was road-rage related.
The shooting happened just before 2 p.m. Thursday in the area of West Byers Place and South Kalamath Street. One person was taken to the hospital, police said.
On Friday, police said the man, identified as 35-year-old Fernando Alvarez-Chacon, had died and the shooting was being investigated as a homicide.
Investigators believe the shooting is related to road rage, police said.
At the scene on Thursday, police appeared to focus their investigation around a black pickup truck that was in the grass overlooking Interstate 25.
Investigators were working to develop suspect information.
