DENVER — A man was killed in a shooting Tuesday night in northeast Denver, the Denver Police Department said.
Police said the shooting happened around 11:40 p.m. in a building on Peoria Street just north of the Interstate 70 interchange. The victim died of his injuries. He has been identified as Jamel King, 27.
Police said they are investigating the man's death as a homicide. They're still working to determine what led up to the shooting, and no suspect information was immediately available.
