DENVER — Police are investigating a shooting in Denver that left one man dead.
The Denver Police Department said they were called to the area of South Federal Boulevard and West Iowa Avenue just before 1:40 p.m. Saturday.
The victim of the shooting, a man, was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Police said the shooting stemmed from an altercation between the victim and the shooter, but they're still investigating the circumstances. It's not clear whether they knew each other. They have contacted everyone involved and haven't made any arrests yet, according to an update shared on social media just before 6 p.m. Saturday.
