2 in custody for Wednesday morning robbery, police looking for others involved

Denver Police have two people in custody and are looking for more people in the area of East 56th Avenue and Vasquez Boulevard.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — The Denver Police Department is looking for people involved in a robbery that took place early Wednesday morning.

Denver Police said they have two people in custody in connection to a robbery that happened at about 2:30 a.m. Officers are in the area of East 56th Avenue and Vasquez Boulevard looking for other people connected with the robbery, police said.

At about 5:14 a.m., the Colorado Department of Transportation reported the exit ramp from eastbound Interstate 270 to Vasquez was closed due to police activity. It has since reopened.
