Police ask for public's help finding robbery suspect

The robbery happened on Jan. 13 at 3996 East Evans Avenue.

DENVER — The Denver Police Department (DPD) is looking for the public's help in locating a suspect who is wanted for a robbery in south Denver.

According to police, the suspect is wanted in connection to a robbery that happened on Jan. 13 at 3996 East Evans Avenue at about 8:07 p.m. That's near South Colorado Boulevard and East Evans Avenue.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot 5-inches tall with a thin build, police said.

The suspect was last seen driving a white Dodge 1500 pickup truck with black wheels and a distinctive black stripe on the hood.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or visit metrodenvercrimestoppers.com. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000. 

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation. 

From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
