DENVER — Denver Police said an officer fired a shot while confronting a person related to a report of a stolen motorcycle on Monday morning in north Denver.
About 8:15 a.m., police responded to the area of 48th Avenue and Jackson Street. That's north of Interstate 70 near Colorado Boulevard.
Officers responded to a report of a stolen motorcycle. One officer fired a shot during the confrontation when one person appeared to be armed, according to police.
Denver Police said no one was hit by the officer's shot and there were no injuries.
The two people are in custody, a Denver Police spokesperson said.
Police said to expect delays in the area and to plan to use alternate routes.
