DENVER — Denver Police asked for help Tuesday as they worked to identify the driver who did not stop after striking and injuring a pedestrian who was crossing the street.
The crash happened around 10:20 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Meade Street in Denver. According to a Metro Denver Crime Stoppers bulletin released Tuesday, the driver of a late model Ford Bronco was traveling north when they hit the person. The victim suffered "significant" injuries as a result of the crash, but the exact details of their injuries are unknown.
A man was driving the Ford Bronco, and a woman was in the passenger seat, Denver Police said.
On Tuesday, police provided two photos, one showing the area where the crash happened and the other showing the vehicle that was involved.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or visit metrodenvercrimestoppers.com. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation.
From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
